Hi, I'm Alfin Prasetya
Software Engineer · 2+ Years in Healthcare Tech
I build DICOM-based imaging pipelines and HL7/FHIR interoperability solutions — integrating PACS with AI inference, bridging clinical systems to platforms like SATUSEHAT, and delivering it all through CI/CD-driven infrastructure.
About Me
Bridging technology and healthcare
I'm a healthcare software engineer with over 2 years of experience building clinical systems focused on medical imaging and interoperability. My work sits at the intersection of DICOM, FHIR R4, and HL7 v2/v3 — connecting PACS, modalities, and clinical platforms into cohesive data flows.
I build and maintain imaging pipelines that integrate AI inference into radiology workflows, and develop interoperability solutions that bridge hospital systems to national health platforms like SATUSEHAT. On the infrastructure side, I ship everything through containerised, CI/CD-driven pipelines using Docker and GitHub Actions.
I care about writing software that clinicians can trust — reliable, well-tested, and built with clear data contracts. Outside of work, I contribute to open-source health informatics tooling and write about imaging and interoperability on this blog.

Featured work
A selection of healthcare software projects I've designed, built, and shipped.
Radiology Information System
A self-hosted, enterprise-grade RIS built on Go and PostgreSQL — covering patient scheduling, worklist management, and seamless HL7 v2 order/result messaging with full DICOM MWL integration.
Enterprise PACS Platform
A containerised, production-ready PACS built on Orthanc with a zero-install OHIF web viewer, automated study routing, AI inference hooks, and custom HL7 ADT/ORM ingestion.
Clinical Data Backup & Recovery
An automated, policy-driven backup solution for clinical environments — protecting DICOM archives, databases, and configurations with encrypted cloud sync, retention management, and real-time health monitoring via Grafana.

Software Engineer
Jaya Medika Alkesindo
Designed and built ONICS — an enterprise RIS and PACS platform deployed across 20+ hospitals. Developed the core RIS in Go/Fiber with PostgreSQL, implemented DICOM MWL and HL7 v2 order/result messaging, and integrated Orthanc-based PACS with OHIF web viewer. Also responsible for DevOps: containerised deployments with Docker, CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions, infrastructure monitoring with Grafana and Loki, and automated clinical data backup to cloud storage.
